West coast born and raised in the south, I grew up exploring the natural landscapes of the lakes and mountains of California, Oregon, and North Georgia. My college years were spent in art schools and working for studio artists in a variety mediums including fiber sculpture and ceramics. I found my way back to California in 2000 searching for new ways to adapt and apply my creative process. After a decade of learning traditional and contemporary floral design with a charming creekside flower shop in Mill Valley,  I launched my own Marin based floral studio.

Working as an independent designer allows me to participate in every aspect of the design process from consultation to installation. I love collaborating with my clients, photographers, planners and other event specialists to create uniques experiences that reflects the personal aesthetics of of the hosts and compliments the venue.

I draw my inspirations from the shifting of seasonal blooms and the limitless color floral trade, creating authentic and sustainable relationships with suppliers and event specialists while building an extensive visual vocabulary.

I study color occurring naturally in floral blooms, the shape and movement in the stems and branches, the texture of layers of greenery. Every arrangement is a new meditation on the artistry of floral design.
